Come on now Ralph, what's to get excited about, the pointy end guys say, it's those mid pack folks who CHEAT.

I thought you two were in the know? That stuff has been around for decades. Magic in a bottle, or in this case a tube.

Works a LOT better on the 1.6 because we don't have a restrictor plate, but too much of a good thing just kills velocity below 6k. Just don't get any on your skin.

oh boy, a new can of worms. Remember in chemistry when you said to the teacher, I am never going to use this stuff in the real world, why do I need to know which acid reacts with aluminum and which one reacts with ferrous metals? Be a driver not a cheater. I am often late to the show, did I miss something, please don't tell me that someone got caught acid porting.

At roebling this weekend, I took a pint of this and poured it all in the oil cap. Couldn't tell a difference. Am I doing it wrong ?
Mix 40:1 like a 2-stroke and you'll get more power with every tank.

Try the washer fluid reservoir next time?

This would mean that modified ecu are legal just as long as you are not caught. For that matter everything is legal as long as you are not caught. Good to know. Only cheaters are the bad ones.

$600 for about $.22 worth of acid. Acid etching of porting has been going on since I was a kid. That's a looooong time ago. Actually, probably before that.

Just ordered a case of this stuff ! Since he's making so much money here, Drago promised to take a day off work and finally get that revised setup guide written up.

To be clear. I just wanted some novice to understand that they don't need $600 to cheat. You can do it for a couple of pennies. On the other hand, the top guys don't need to cheat at any price to win. Also, when I presented some heads to my engine builder that had been done this way, he refused to put them on my engine. He said, "If Mister Magoo is in tech, you are fucked." After he pointed out what had been done, even I could see the problem. The glaze is for donuts.
PS, I can supply the same stuff at $500 if any of you really took this seriously.

"Also, there is no spec on color! What passes tech is legal, regardless of the liberals opinions."
SCCA Cylinder Head rule:
"No aluminum in the bowl area (other than that specified for the plunge cut) or the ports may be removed, added, or manipulated for any reason."
SCCA Intake Manifold rule:
"The intake manifold must be stock Mazda parts, without any material added or removed. No coating is permitted on the exterior or interior of the manifold."
Coat em if you care, highly unlikely to survive protest.
So soon we forget the head/intake manifold protests within Spec Maita and other classes.

Stop putting up serious posts DD...you are a kill joy!
One of the left coast guys needs the basic rules reading.
Besides that, Drago started this nonsense with his head grease.

Me thinks this isn't about selling a clearly (Sm) illegal product and more about making a statement, almost like a little public jab....just a guess to this mystery.
This has eerily caused less ruckus than a painted heat shield!

Well, I think James quoted what someone else wrote(though it is gone now)and then just elaborated on the absurdity! What will be funny if Jim gets a couple orders!
