If Jim's car wasn't messed up after the crash someone caused during qualifying I think that race would have turned out a little differently
Isnt that why we actually run the qualifiers and races?

I saw jim hung over once, when Down Town Brown got him to drink one shot of Jaeger... what a pussy.
Hmm this is a very interesting bet even though jim will likely welch on that bet if he loses.

Dam Danica.. he has you in group two
Several in there likely will be in group A.. Johnathan Davis and Holton I would probably guarantee.. Several others as well.. but someone has to move out of A and most of those look solid

I left room for three more... Lots of folks on that list could those three and I probably have a few that might not make it... It was HARD making that list.... I didn't look everyone's results up but I did for most..

That's if holton can keep all 4 wheels on the car
It looks like the car count dropped to 88, so 44 in each group ?

I plan to move to A, but like you say it's a lot easier to pick who might move up than who will fall back. I definitely disagree with some Mike moved to B. Some luck involved too with 18 minutes to get it done. Either way I'm willing to bet on myself.
yeah, looking at group b i see a lot of names and think they've got to make it to the A group. then you look at the A group and i don't see many id drop, you really have to be one of the best drivers in the country just to make it to the A group. it will be very tough especially at this track with how close it will be due to how easy it is to get up to speed. you really want every 1/100th you can get so you definitely don't want to be driving a car that has gone end over end the race before... but seriously think this will be a very very close race, the mid pack is really a toss up from 50th-20th you just have to get that one clean lap and luck will play a pretty big part in that
Spencer to bad I advised Danica to include you doing your own setup in the bet
even jim couldn't sprinkle enough of his fairy dust on the engine to overcome that
The closer the race gets the better this thread becomes..... ... theres gonna be some folks in group A that just have a bad day on Monday... Does that mean they are in group B on Tuesday... and they stay there till the final.. . Or does that also mean that Group A and B switch everyday as the times roll in..? Basically a rolling Group A top 44.. so you could be in or out each day...? So in theory.. Say Jim has a horrible day on monday.. .. goes off track.. Wheel falls off... fails to lay down a time.. does that mean on Tuesday he is on Grid next to Jerry in group B? And stays in B till thursday.... ?

I'm pretty sure SCCA is using the number of posts on this forum as the tie-breaker for this. Also, David owes me after last year's Runoffs.
Dam Danica.. he has you in group two

But you won't stay in B till Thursday if that happens right?
fastest cars from day 1 are in A group in days 2
combined times from day 1 and 2, the fastest 44 are in group a for day three
combined times from 1,2,3 top 60 in group A, the rest have a 15 minute race and top 12 make race

I'm almost glad I've had teething issues with the new car all season. I can just sneak on in in the LCQ and when I finish top 30 the hard charger is a sure bet. lol.
I'm bummed Danica didn't let me in on any bets. He knows I have a gambling problem.
I'm counting on the red mist going into turn 1 taking out a whole gaggle of cars somewhere between 12th-25th. That's gotta be the kill zone as the field checks up for 1 and 2.
I want to make a bold prediction though. I think someone outside the top 10 at the start will win. Any takers?
