Ballast System Half Weight Plate (7.3lbs)


The plate has four holes, with nuts welded on the back side. The weight plates (14.7 lbs, half plates are available 7.3 lbs) also have four holes in them, they lay flat on the base plate and attach with four 1/2 in grade 8 bolts. Weight plates can easily be changed in and out with little to no hassle.

Brake Banjo


An Iron Canyon Motorsports exclusive. We needed these for our cars and had a few extra manufactured in the process. Nobody but ICM has a 303 Stainless Steel banjo bolt with a 1/8 NPT fitting for a M10x1 threaded master cylinder. We know. We looked Posted Image. The ICM Brake Pressure Sender Adapter replaces an existing banjo bolt on the master cylinder and allows the use of a 1/8 NPT pressure sensor for measuring braking force. No cutting of critical brakelines or introduction of additional failure points in a critical system. Some are even drilling and tapping the master cylinder to install a sensor. As our class doesn't allow use of a proportioning valve you really only need to monitor a single point to pick up the brake pressure. Clean and easy.

ESR COMPETITION RADIATOR 1990-1997


Originally built and designed by Sam Henry of Springfield Dyno. This is the latest revision to the most effective radiator in the Spec Miata marketplace. There's a reason that so many winners and champions use these radiators, they work better than anything else out there. They have been used on 6 of the last 7 national Championship winning cars.

This is a true triple pass radiator which channels the water from side to side multiple times ensuring a substantially longer cooling time in the radiator and pulling even more heat out of the cooling system. Many try to copy, but none have been nearly as effective.

Three main attributes for this radiator are:

Reduced cooling system operating temperature. We have consistently seen 20-30 degrees cooler temperatures running this new radiator vs a 54mm Koyo radiator or a few of the other copies of our radiator.

Reduced intake system air temperatures. During controlled dyno tests, we have seen 15-20 degree drops on intake air temps.

Reduced weight off the nose of the car. Compared to the Koyo, this new radiator weighs approx. 2.5lbs less when fully filled.

The simple facts are that if you keep the coolant temps below 190 degrees, you are going to make more power. Also, if the intake air temp is cooler, you will also make more power.

This is really one of the must haves if you want to make power for a whole National race distance, even tucked up in a tight draft.

Gusseted rear differential housing


After breaking several of these and finding myself parked on the side of the track and missing the entire race, we decided to start offering these to our customers as well. If you have not experienced this yet, you will at some point. Don't let this ruin your weekend. A hard bump draft or stacking up at the start off a race and getting hit in the rear usually results in a broken diff housing. we have all seen this happen many times. We started gusseting these diff housings with 1/4 aluminum plate cut on the CNC. We don't start with a broken housing as most do and weld. We start with a good virgin housing that has not already failed. The cost of this part is less than what you will lose in entry fees of one race the first time it happens.

Tow Hook Lightweight - Front 90-05


This is our ultimate front tow hook. There are plenty of tow hooks on the market, but all of them require you to remove the stock Mazda tow hook. We really like the stock Mazda tow hooks that come on the car for tying the car down in the trailer. They are made from some really strong steel that does not seem to bend, and the angle that they are at make it easy for tying the car down.

We designed a lightweight aluminum tow hook that works with the exitsting stock tow hook. This lightweight tow hook, meets the SCCA requirements for tow hooks and uses a kevlar strap that moves out of the way to allow you to still use the stock tow hook to tie the car down. On the racetrack the kevlay strap hangs down in front of the stock front hook and when its time to go home, you just lift the kevlar strap up and then you can access the stock tow hook to tie the car down in the trailer.

This tow hook works on all Miata's from 1990-2005 and is a simple bolt on installation. The aluminum is anadized Red, and the kevlar strap is black.

Even though the Tow Hook is extremely light in weight, it is designed to install on the passenger side of the car to help offset driver weight.

Power Steering Plugs


Set of two metric allen plugs for de-powering the Miata power steering rack. Cleans up the steering rack area and makes for a clean and easy no-mess conversion. Simply remove the power steering pump and lines, drain all the fluid, and insert the plugs. Done.
