Not sure if I am reading the results correctly? Sager had the 2nd fastest lap, but shown much lower.

It was the first Qualifying RACE. BTW: Results now up on Mylaps, search "2011 NASA"

Sager was 10 sconds back to the leader at the finish after doing the second best lap time on lap 4.

Thanks Weekend Warrior, 5 lap qualifying Race. That sure puts a premium on getting up to temp quickly!

My prediction is that if the track is really wet, look for Kevin Gleeson to do a walk off. He was blistering fast last Sunday on a very wet Mid Ohio track.

FWIW, Forecast is saying dry conditions for Saturday's main.

Hille and balanos came back nicely today! Sparks and Staz both close to the front again today

How do they tie yesterdays' qualifying and race and todays' qualifying and race together to determine final grid. Bolanos put on the pole today but yesterday was way back in both qualifying and the race.

I think NASA averages the finishes of the two qualifying races to determine the main starting grid. I believe lap times are used as tie-breakers.

That is right, I am not sure on tie breakers.

So Bolanos and Hille will be starting a ways back. Why would they only run 3 laps in the first qualifying race putting them that far back.

I believe each day's qual sets the grid for that day's qual race, and the results of the qual races set the main event grid. Motocross scoring format, where the 2nd qual race is the tie breaker.

Yeah, something had to happen, Corely and Taylor were up there and last lap a bunch of cars moved around in top 10? Wonder if there was any contact? They say they are being very tough on it this year? I hope that wasn't the case
