I get your point and understand.. Just want to make sure it is understood that 2011 tires were not the issue.. New tires were the issue IMO.. I have about 8 sets of 2010 -2011 tires saved up for this years NASA championship
Are you running or supporting cars?

It's just my opinion, but I think it has to do with the smooth track surface and the type of sealer they use at mid o. Unlike most other tracks they put down a smooth sealer that give good grip in the dry. I think the older, harder compound, tires like that sealer. That is my guess.Does anyone have any theories as to why old tires work better at mid-o? Is it a drag thing?
