Since we're now referencing movies, this is for the younger crowd who probably haver never seen the movie, "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", so they can better understand Bruce's new avatar:

My question about the bypass procedure: thermostat, restrictor, or just wide open? Get well soon Bruce! -Juan

I was going to say "get well soon"...but, it sounds like you are already well into it. Glad to hear it, Bruce.

Thanks Juan and Tom. Making good progress but this sure isn't going to be easy. I loved to run a few times a week and really hope I can get back to that level of health again someday, but at this point that seems like a long way off. I just gotta keep judging my progress relative to what I could do a week ago.

Bruce was in attendance today but seemed a little irked that he wasn't racing. He looks great and has a fantastic attitude. I guess he is walking 4 miles a day already and back to work part time. Way cool!

Thanks Bruce! Second place would have been okay too (maybe in one of the races)
if it meant you were in the race.
Good to see you at the track.

Thanks Eric! The good news is the fire is still there, and from what I can tell, the body will catch up. Stress test in two weeks will tell damage or lack thereof. I'm guessing the damage is pretty minimal given I'm already able to outperform the entire family and the dog (and probably most of the Oregon SM field) on walks

Had the big stress test today. I've been stressing in anticipation for days.
Good news is Cardiologist said there's no reason I can't race again.
Bad news is on a good day, I still feel like I can beat any of you jokers
