Ask your questions here and I'll compile them and create a FAQ for everyone. I'm on the Lone Star Region BoD. We are hosting this event so I will make sure we get answers for you.

Question I already have answers for:

• When is registration open? Registration is supposed to open on January 15th. I'll post the moment I hear it's open (in case you're not on the mailing list)
• What is the date of the race weekend? Friday March 8th - Sunday 10th. There is a track provided practice day on Thursday March 7th.
• When will the track open? Track is open to us starting Wednesday afternoon March 6th. The track is open 24x7.
• What is the cost for a garage? There are 24 - 26 garages and each is 20x60 and will hold about 6 cars. Garages are $500 for the weekend. This Includes Thursday and Friday practice. You are allowed/encouraged to sublet areas of your garage if you get one. I do not know if we will have access to the support race's paddock area but I can't imagine we won't so stay tuned for more on that.
• What is the cost for the practice day? The cost for the race weekend hasn't been determined yet but the fee will include Friday practice. Thursday practice day is $300, paid to the track.
• How can you help? Volunteer! We will have a great group working for you but if you can help, please reach-out and we'll find something for you to do.

If we get more than 85 entries per run group (we'll have our own), you'll likely have to race your way in by not being the 86th fastest.
I don't think we'll have enough daylight to do A's and B's with 6 run groups.

If you turn a wheel on track in Friday Practice, you probably won't get a refund for being too slow. It will be addressed in the supps.

back to good questions, will we be alowed to camp in the paddock?

I remember seeing something about spills in the paddock, what size spot are they going to come down on us for? nearly impossible for everyone to make it out of there without putting anything on the ground.

Will they require wood under the jackstands and jacks in the paddock?

I don't think theyll want us to put wood under jack stands, but Lee and I will know more on Saturday.

Charges for damage we have heard are:

chemical spill in the paddock = $500.00 per sq. ft.

hit the Arnco Barrier = $500.00 per linear ft.

you'll probably want to stay off the fresh sod as well...

The GCR basically says that no more than 85 cars can practice, qualify, or race at a time.

Call me stupid, but if someone causes an accident and there is armco damage - doesn't the SCCA's insurance cover that?
