After all the betting on the number of green laps, who wants to get a bet going for how many post's this thread will have after the race?

Wow. We knew it would be exciting, and it sure was. Especially Drago seriously sideways in T5. Fun to keep track of Danny's progress as he moved up.

Exciting race.
It looks like a very expensive race.

Drago wins, lets see if there are any penalties. That was a hard fought race for many

WOW! Other than Drago almost all the top 10 came from way back! Voytek, Steyn, Leverone, Jordon, Bolanos...great drives!
Great job Joey Jordon representing the West Coast!
Sh*t happens Jim...disappointing for your team mates and maybe bitter sweet win but you earned it!!!!
Way to get there Danny and Voytek...great drives! Cant wait to see Dannys video!
Now lets see if all cars pass tech and and possible protest or yellow infractions!

Observations from the SpeedCast:
Can we have some of those corner workers at Watkins Glen please?!?! Wow.
Nice to hear Jim's apology to Stearns....imagine that has to suck.
How many different pronunciations are there for "Gorilla"?
Gorilla is, well, a Gorilla in the brake zone. Impressive.
Big ones were caused by guys who should have lifted.
Fun to watch.

I have alot of support from family and friends, and I have to thank them for all they do. My dad has been to all of my races since I started around 10 yrs old, and I am now 43. I really wanted this one bad.
All the guys I raced around are great drivers.
I think Danny showed great determination this week and I admire that.
Thanks again to my crew, family, and friends.

Craig even with your issues, you looked like you were the one to beat, until you went off. Tough luck, hope you bounce back strong

Now that the race is over, let the games begin. DDG started with the games yesterday with me and Drago and got his wrist slapped. Some people never learn.
Full disclosure: SMAC chairman, my opinions do not reflect anything to do with the SMAC unless specifically stated.

I made it to turn 5 before ping ponging between Voytek and Steyn in the brake zone. Broken diff resulted and race was over before it began. It was fun to watch, but what a mess. Some sloppy and aggressive driving up front.
