I was told by the Regional Executive of Atlanta Region that we did not want or need SM1. Of course, Jack Marr is the Chief Steward and he can ask the Stewards to add the class.

But, I've listened to what all of you have said and I don't believe any of you want this, SM 1. Anyhow, bring your A game, some candy for the kids and let's have a fun weekend. Any one hear what Tom Fowler is dressing up as for Halloween? I was going to come as a SCCA Steward but I can't find a white Hawaiian shirt!

The decision to offer SM1 was made on the conference call Monday evening.

If you want to come as a Steward you need to work on your "whatthehellisgoingon" look.

So I can run without restrictor plate because ?

or different tires ?

or even corvette engine im in.

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.

Kumbaya
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search
This article is about the song. For the town in Ecuador, see Cumbayá.

"Kumbaya" or "Kumbayah" or "Cumbaya" (Gullah, "Come By Here" — "Kum ba yah") — is a spiritual song first recorded in the 1920s. It became a standard campfire song in Scouting and summer camps, and enjoyed broader popularity during the folk revival of the 1950s and 1960s.

The song is originally a simple appeal to a deity to come and help those in need, but more recently, it also is cited or alluded to in satirical or cynical ways that suggest false moralizing, hypocrisy, or naively optimistic views of the world and human nature.[1]

Hell fire, they told me the conference call was Sunday night. I wondered why no one had anything to say. Where the heck does it say in the GCR that a class that does not really exist and that no one really wants can be added on a conference call that no one knows about? Oh wait, I'm just the one of the grunts for the ARRC. Wanna make a bet on how many SM1 cars there are?

Von C-- first thing, you have no idea where the restrictor plate goes or what it does. Next, Jeffy Boy could put Wally World tires on your car and it would make no difference. And finally, why the heck would you want to slow down with a plastic pig motor in your chick car. You tried that great big Mustang.

No one needs to worry about a trap. Just follow the bread crumbs through the woods and....

I do see some people from NC.  I guess you are one of them?

Not registered yet, doing it the weekend!

I would be there but have to coach little league football team in the playoffs.  We have to defend last years championship. Last year to coach, then I am free to travel to races in the fall.

And these ^ are memories you'll never forget. I coached grade school soft ball and basket ball. Now watching my ten year old grand daughter play soccer and volly ball. Watching her play, she has the same movements as her father. Kind of like memory lane.

Yea, that's a pretty good excuse.  Too bad you're not local and can squeeze in both.  :-)

I just looked at the ten-day weather forecast.  Today and tomorrow we'll reach the low 80's.  Nice.  Next weekend, not so much.  High's in the 50's.  Some of us down south call that freezing.  Glad we're not Group 1.
