Don't have a clue what you mean by, list from the org. Understand many don't use the site.
I meant from SCCA or NASA (the race orgs).

I'll try on Monday. From my past experiences with SCCA, they wouldn't have a clue. Jim Drago??? Albetro, if your connected with NASA maybe you could contact then.

I'm not well connected there. I'm more connected with my local SFR SCCA.

Honestly, David, I know this is your project. Has been forever, will be until it's solve or you don't get any access to a computer in the old folks home. So with that said, I'm here to help in any way possible. I did give you the idea of contacting all 1.6 members here, you can use the chat room for meetings. Sorry no secret hand shakes there, but.. Let get this party started !!!
How about Steve doing more polls, assuming it doesn't bring down the site.
How much is a 1.6er willing to pay to be competitive with a NB ??
Regional and Majors ??
Want Majors guys to run in a majors class at a regional event so a regional can win in class ??
Does everyone know how much it take to run at the Majors level to win ??
Do we have Dyno graphs of a .010 over compared to stock, what do we gain ??
Does .025 or .050 get you where you want to be ??
We've talked over the years about, is this a project to keep you busy or something you really want to solve ??
Is this something the 1.6ers wants, afford, continue to do, all remains to be seen but lets put it out on the table.
Up to you, I like you posting here, I'll do what I can to support.
I do like to make jokes, and you already spoke of busting balls, so...
Good luck, Carry on.

Johnny, when I read your post ^ relative to this thread and seperate the wheat from the chaff, their ain't much left. The intent of this thread is to find the population which supports the 1.6....................... I ain't about to search members list to find 1.6 owners/drivers. I'm having an engine guy outside Spec Miata review a dyno graph with improved torque numbers below 5,500 rpm and comparing to Drago's 1.6 dyno graph. If he's in agreement, I'll implement the changes, do the dyno work and head to the track in the spring. Check the on track results and if positive write a letter that'll be outside the box, which is the same place the 1.6 was left below 5,500 rpm's after the 99 was classed.
That's great and I wish you all the best and give you big props for the time, effort, and $ that's involved.
Just thinking from a marketing stand point (Mazda) and not getting a black eye again....
How about getting the 1.6 competitive at Daytona (runoffs), which may or may not be below 5500 ??
Just a thought, I know really we're looking for overall parity at every(most) tracks.
And so getting every 1.6 driver info gets you what in achieving this ??
A list a driver to support you, maybe $ ??
Just asking,
J~
Im with Ron. All you hear about are 1.6s and 99s. When was the last time you heard shit about the NA 1.8s? Or the really odd OBDII 97?

James, I'm attempting to get off my A$$ and do something about the 1.6. I would have hopped more 1.6er's would have shown interest, same ol same ol. bitch and moan and sit on the side lines. Get something going for you spec line of choice.
Did you need all the 1.6's to get you off your A$$?
How big is it? Maybe a forklift will do.

I'll be nice.
So Brandon and Rich have been in office a few hours, (SMAC) have you had a chat with them yet ??
John Mueller ?? It's a NASA issue too.
Steve's onboard right ?
MB would be good but I think he thinks the horse has already left the barn.
Just saying, there's no reason to go about this alone.
