So who is going to win the race?  I predict a Cuban sweep.  The Cuban missile going to get at least one of the wins.

Blake in his 2.5 liter? Drago in the new ride? Buras from the cruise ship bar? One of the many top prep 1.6's that will be coming off blocks now that they can be competitive? Which lap will they flag the race on?

If I chose to be a sarcastic a$$, maybe you should remember who shoved his 1.6 back in the corner because from his testing/racing he doesn't believe the bones thrown for the 1.6 will be sufficient to make the 1.6 a player. On the other hand I thank the SMAC/CRB for throwing a couple bones other than the flopping around the usual 25 pounds. Also as was mentioned the other day in a post, there are plenty of 1.6's racing non-Majors races with plenty of 99 plus cars in the race group. By the way there are way more non-Majors entries than there are Majors entries. Please look from both sides of the fence.

I could care less if it's a Majors smack talk thread. When you, the SMAC Chairman start your negativity with respect to the 1.6 for your buds/groupies, my feeble mind suggests you should look at everything Spec Miata from both sides of the fence and be prepared to defend your comments with something other than, it's a Majors smack thread.

I believe the difference between DLB & Motorsportreg is when they charge your credit card. I was told Motorsportreg charges it as soon as you register while DLB does it after the event and it makes it easier to handle a no show for DLB.

I'll try to verify this.

It is completely up to the host region which system they use.

Jim i think you can set it up any way you want. Our Region uses Motorsports.reg and do not charge till the event. You can elect when to pull the trigger.

You made a crack towards the 1.6. I responded to your crack, hopefully you got the point. In case you didn't it ain't all about Majors. Now, I will move along.

not the place.. but I like a bug to a zapper I guess :)
It's not all about the majors when it fits the argument you mean? Typically it is where did the 1.6 finish at the this majors? How many 1.6's or NA cars entered in that majors... And there are no NA cars in the majors because they are at such a rules disadvantage etc. I agree that there is racing outside the majors as well, but most seem to play both sides of this fence on this issue :)

I had smack talk about several things that were clearly tongue in cheek, you walnut. You chose to take something out of context and turn it into a parity discussion (shocker). The only "point" we ever get from you is whining about the 1.6 whenever you can find any way to fit it into your flawed agenda.

A good day to you sir.

I said GOOD DAY!

Now that is a platform that I can support!

I think it's time to write letters to the e crb to take away anything that was given plus anything that might be given to the 1.8... We already have great racing just leave things alone. But dewy always has to poke the bear. Some say the squeeky wheel gets the grease most with a budget throw the squeeky wheel in the trash!!! Give the bs a rest and bring your car to the track. I have asked you twice to drive your car, no response both times... So just keep the car hidden away and keep on churpin!!! Now back to the smac dillon Mac will win one of two days...

I am thinking Blake is due, he has been punished when leading last year so the fairness gods may cut his some slack. Besides his car has been used as a back drop for some girly pictures, maybe something rubbed off.
