Oh yes it was intentional, no question about it. Paul Holton pitted me at full speed in the middle of the back straight, towards the inside concrete wall. Not apologetic at all, and not the first time he's done something like this. Sadly it is a non-SCCA test day so nothing can be done. Many have said they would punch his lights out or retaliate. What's a guy to do - neither of those options are going to get thru to a bratty rich kid?

On a rain/tornado watch delay here - may or may not get qualifying in this afternoon, but tomorrow morning will be the fast session anyway. Been about 17 years since I've driven Sebring in the rain - it was treacherous with lots of hydroplaning. Fortunately the class didn't see any major carnage in rain practice.

Sometimes the right thing to do is whatever makes YOU feel better.  I would punch his lights out, or retaliate 6 of one half dozen of the other :)  May not change his behavior but might be fun.

No excuse for the driver that caused the spin - he has no business being in club racing.

 

The driver that was spun did have the option of removing themselves from the situation prior to the attack - it was only test day.

Mostly dry for qual today. After the storm it got sunny and warm. Went with 6 heat cycle tires to verify setup changes (car is good) and will sticker up for the fast session in the morning and find a drafting partner. Planning to live stream the race tomorrow afternoon.

Kinda hoping for rain on Sunday but looks like the chances are shrinking.

Race is scheduled for 1:55pm. Will have live streaming at same link posted earlier. Struggling with a loose car that we can't seem to find the balance on, so starting P8 and will be doing all I can to hang on to it for the duration. Might be a great seat to watch the lead battle.

Nice race Todd, thanks for sharing. Looks like working together you and AC had the pace to catch Selin but few opportunities to challenge him. Short race, a few more laps would have allowed more patience. Jim had some competitive times in his new car but never quite broke through to join that lead group. Tomorrow should be a good one.
