Great job William, thanks.

They both say more than some of us knew yesterday.
If you are inclined to believe Bilstein's email, then yeah it says "something". But, the SCCA email says nothing at all---load of horseshit, really.

I didn't lose, I just got outspent!
So if the shocks are out of stock to say August, that likely means September or later, so we will be into the runoffs by then. If we don't like the shock to begin with I say dump it now and move to plan B, but it would take at least till September or longer to do the testing and get a supply of a replacement.
However, having said that, I say make the switch. If we don't really like this shock then this is the best opportunity to make the change. So who has to pull the trigger on that decision?

I think it is too late to make any change before Runoffs or NASA Champs. Not enough time for rules makers or racers to test.

I have 4 Bilstein shocks with 11 races on them for sale @ $12,000.00. Maybe a tad high for 4 shocks, but they are broken in and come attached to a really nice 1.6.
Hello Richard,
Thank-you for your input on this sensitive matter. The SCCA, along with the SM advisory committee, is working very closely with Mazda for the SM Bilstein shock unavailability issue.
Additional information pertaining to this subject is forthcoming.

Your so humorous funny boy. where you get your $hit from.
BFC, some people step up in life to truly check their talent. He isn't doing to bad in TA this year after a couple years of TA2. Oh, and IIRC he had 5 SCCA national championships in 5 different cars 4 classes. To my way of thinking, that'd be called 5 time. One day not so long ago he won a National Championship in a FWD H prod in the AM and a won a National Championship in a RWD F 1000 in the PM starting DFL in IIRC an 18 car field. He and I were chatting last evening about the upcoming Indy Trans AM event including an invite to join them for the weekend. The best part about Loshak is he'd never question your talent.
