very close racing all day in test day - not much seperating the top 5 each session

NASA did well to bring out the large Aussie V8 Apex turtles, that if you straddle them, you need a new front suspension

Then, as reminded several times today, if you intentionally drive BEYOND the track out speed bumps, then you WILL face loss of qually time or loss of race position. As the day prgressed every one started to tighten up their styles and I suspect that apart from T19 which has been declared OPEN SEASON, then we will see very tight controlled racing.

Go Dan!  Holding it down for Rocky Mountain region in Q1 with an excellent lap.  I have to say following Race Hero from the office is pretty darn good, though I do wish I was at COTA.  Can somebody break down car year/ engine builder?

Any word on the livestream? Is it supposed to be better than the typical two static cameras and announcers in a truck that have no idea what's going on?

More cameras and a drone weather permitting, but announcers still sound like two randomly selected casual fans asked to fill air time. If they read this, sorry, I do realize this isn’t big time racing.

$130,000.00 total purse sure makes it serious racing. IIRC $70,000.00 for Spec Miata. Announcers should be knowledgeable of Spec Maita and serious.

Went from wet to damp to wet so timing really scrambled the field. Looks like group B is also starting quite wet, but if it dries quickly things could be wild this afternoon with an upside down grid.

Is anybody planning to do their own in car live stream? Looking for another view to watch that is better than static cameras...

Good luck everyone!

Wow. Looks like a random number generator set the grid. Might as well have just drawn names out of a hat.

Not sure I'd wanna be a slower car between haldeman/dargo/crick/berry and the front.

Gonna be an interesting call on tires...50-60 pct chance of rain starting at 2pm. Rain moving up from the southeast.

How long is the race, today?

I didn’t realize that group 2 couldn’t not move up into group 1 in final Q. So not as scrambled as I feared.

But it will still be wild!

And THAT is how you make a statement!

Announcers clueless to the end.
