6. Putting the car on the third row for the race. Now my brother can get off my ass about me being a crappy qualifier.

I told you at the NASA runoffs to "get-up-on-the-wheel" as you had the car! Great drive Tom. :)

You should have heard the Thump Thump as he went down pit road. :offtopic:

I thought that was the sound of his head on the steering wheel? :banghead:

ROFL!!! OMG JD seems to have a bit of a sense of humor about him about this whole incident. If you haven't seen the wheels and tires section in the Classifieds

Well, at least we all know now the hot setup for RA includes staggered camber settings.....

The 3/4 rule is good, it prepares the overtaking driver to drive in the grass if needed. You can't always bet on the guy infront of you to play by the rules, or give you any room. Anything to avoid a collision is good in my book..

Where to start...

First, congratulations to Elivan and his family. I didn't get a chance to meet you, but have heard nothing but great things about you. You had a heck of a week.

Congrats also to Mr. Charbonneau. I've never met you either and hope I never do. People might think I'm normal compared to you and I can't have that.

Great job by Voytek to make it to the podium. It's great to see Dave and the Advanced Autosports crew get rewarded for their hard work. Dave and his guys build a great car, and they have the results to prove it.

The greatest drive of the race came from Chip. I'm glad that he could make it for the race. The driving clinic he put on under very difficult conditions is awe inspiring. Chip is truly an Ironman, and I am proud to call him my friend.

The class of the field all week was Mr. Drago. No doubt a great driver with a well prepared car, but he showed unbelievable restraint and class with the way things went down. I would have handled things differently, but Jim took the high road which shows a lot about his character.

Now for the not so good...

Sammy, Sammy. How many times are you going to show up with non-compliant shocks? I can send you a set of new Bilsteins if it will help.

I have never worked with Jim Stewart, so I cannot form a personal opinion about him or Stewart Engines. I do know that they build dependable engines with strong numbers, and have an impeccable reputation in the Spec Miata community. The fact that one measurement was ever so slightly over spec, shows that they are getting everything they can out of their engines. I don't think anyone holds it against you that the #44 was found non-compliant. The only thing wrong with the #44 car is that the driver is an idiot.

Finally... Mr. Gorriaran. I would love to meet you some day and speek with you face to face. I don't know where you came from, but hope that you go back there and stay away from Spec Miata. For you to call out anyone as a cheater is laughable. I guess you don't remember introducing the person who re-mapped your ECU last year to a SCCA board member. Or that 'funny' crankshaft you ran. How does it feel to spend countless times more money on your car than your competitors, and still get beat. Maybe you should take your money and try Nascar. Your personality, driving style, and mentallity would fit perfectly. :flamed: Two words for you: Anger Management.

In closing... personally... it was gratifying to have the car that I have put so much time and effort into being at the front. Tom drove the wheels off of it and was in a great position until being pushed off the track and then spun on the same lap. It was even more gratifying seeing it make more than a couple of turns. :duck: :duck:

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.

I've actually thinking it might be neat to do an interview with SG, get his perspective and ask the tough questions. Always another side to a story and it would be interesting.

Big oppin onions? The size of a village?

Ok then 3 questions tough questions:

1. Where do you buy boxer briefs?

2. Does your laundry basket smell like a whopper?

3. On the start of the race (awesome start from you btw) where you doing like Ricky Bobby in that clip and saying to yourself "excuse me, coming through"?
