Top 6 cars where weighed and had fuel samples taken. Positions 4, 5 and 6 where pushed aside and told to wait. Top 3 cars where given lists as to what was to be inspected. Elivans dad, Ademir, is a good parts customer of Advanced Autosports. Since they did not have crew capable of tearing down the motor, he hired us to take the motor apart.

The first place list was:
Restrictor plate
throttle body
Intake manifold
Exhaust manifold
down pipe
cylinder head
remove all valves from #3 cylinder
bore and stroke
Cam shafts
inspection of block
left front shock
right front shock
flywheel
sway bar thickness
Brake rotor diameter

I believe the 2nd place list was similar if not identical.

The 3rd place list, as we found out later, was:
restrictor plate
Throttle body
remove intake manifold
remove exhaust manifold
remove down pipe
bore and stroke
inspect head ports
left front shock
right rear shock
sway bar thickness
brake rotor diameter

Dave, I see no ECU inspections, Did they elect not to check the ECU's or did they do this some time before the final race?

My video is on my facebbok page. While I take great pride in it, it cannot be compared to Chip's run. The level of talent in the field Chip ran through at the Runoffs was remarkable.

I have posted my video to my YouTube channel. It’s there for all to see, warts and all. I made several small mistakes throughout the race, but my screw up with Andrew going into T5 on lap 11 led to a chain of events that put me out of contention. All my fault. Would drive a different race today if I could do it all again. :banghead:

As you will see I scared myself silly in the kink on lap 1, and it took me until lap 7 to go flat through the kink, and I lost time in the kink on those first 6 laps.
