What's the word with Reynolds and Chip?

My uninformed guess would be that they decided to either not attend as the last minute or had something very unfortunate occur in the practice days.

My feeling is they decided not to go.

You could tell the stakes were higher today with how "racey" it was from the moment Q3 started. Your "friends" out there change from corner to corner. Tomorrow looks like great conditions for all to go even faster, high of 54. It's a very deep field with track position and cooperation being critical factors. Tech sealed more motors today.

Reynolds said on FB tonight he wishes he was there, I think he's a no-show....I'll let someone else talk about Chip but I hope all is well with him.

Chip will be here Friday night, He is starting from the back!!! Where he is most deadly. He couldn't make qualifying this year as he had some stuff come up at he last minute. Alex Balanos brought his car.

We lost another engine under our tent today Very unfortunate, on Berrys car this time, a rock or car part went through the radiator screen and through the radiator. It overheated and melted! We lost one yesterday in my spare car that Luke Bickham is driving. We had a spare and installed it. We had to pull it out and put it in to Berry's car. I want to thank Mike Rossini for helping out with a spare motor to put back in Lukes car so he can run as we only had one spare engine. Very nice of him to do so. A class guy for sure!

He was out yesterday and is p15 after yesterday, 1.5 seconds off the pole pace of Drago. He should close some of that down today if he has a good day but he will have his work cut out for him!

in order to keep Berry's times from yesterday.. We had to remove head complete with manifolds for technical inspection from the melted engine. Tech looked at head, valves,cams, intake and exhaust manifold. All passed.. new motor in. He keeps his times and should be in good shape. I like this sealing system so far.

I beleive top 4 were from qualifying today.
