Again with the BS factor Ernie. You were at a pro event. But you weren't racing in a pro class. It was basically a whatcabrung fun race, no points, only bragging rights and trophies. That's cool, but you're trying to make it like you guys are the next Ganassi or Rahal/Letterman/Lanigan. You have a dyno. That's cool (and the gang) but so do so many others. Most big kart teams have dynos and even flow benches. Do you have a shaker rig? How much time do you book at Windshear? You have what appears to be a successful aftermarket accessories/tuner business and you happen to have a amateur race team and support other amateurs. Congrats on the business, and I mean that.

Still waiting for the pics of your "six semi car haulers". That's more than any truck team, Nationwide only team and all but the most well heeled Cup teams.

And that 7500 rpm Miata in alleged SM trim still isn't accounted for except by using the right kind of grease. Is that bearing grease or ECU grease? Of course, on your own site you say that you got your start flashing ECUs. Wonder if there is any chance that happened in Jr's SM?

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.

Did you set your 99 up to draft behind a 99 or a 1.6? :whistling: I bet the shop in Miami would have had tires that were matched perfect and staggered special.
Don't worry I'm over in Brussels now getting special grease from the sex shop across the street for our bearings; they tell me the stuff works wonders and really reduces friction! They said something about being couger approved (whatever that means) .

And it goes on again off the subject. Stop being a sore loser. If you want me you know where to find me. Stop hiding behind the keyboard. It seems like the same group of guys again. The Chip and Matt Show...lol

Hey Matt are you still talking smack? The Corvette runs in the fastest run group for NASA and SCCA. Come run us at Sebring, hope you can run sub 2:10's if you have a car. Is the viper still around? We can meet at a NASA ,SCCA or FARA event if you like. If you beat us I will accept it, congratulate you and shake your hand. We will be at Homestead the 19-20 bring something to run with the vette. You can look up our last mylaps at Sebring if you like when we were just playing with the car.

Ernie Francis

I'm sorry, I've been reading this whole thing with popcorn, and had some free time to look at NASA results for 2010 and 2011 at Sebring.

A 2:19 is a long, long way from a 2:10, isn't it? 2:21 in another race, 2:24 in another.

So, even given the benifit of the doubt to you, why do I need to run 2:10's? Wouldn't my usual 2:15's to 2:17's be fast enough? Even my bad weekend 2:19's would put me up front, yes?

This past January, the fastest STO corvette at the SCCA national turned a 2:13.7. That's pretty close to a 2;10, isn't it?
