Wow, should be a heck of a race. The Oregon gang will be tough to beat if they form a 3 or 4 car train. Anyone know who else in the top tier are in 1.6's? Will be interested in seeing how the RR's are doing. What's the SM track record by the way?

WRT lap records, I've turned a 17.3, but that was during our enduro when it was like 50 degrees out and I don't think we had switched from MPRA to NASA yet. Ken turned a 2:17.674 in quali in May, Will did 2:18.284 during the race.  The track is very temperature sensitive.  It's in the high 80's and lower 90's here.  I doubt records are going to be broken.

 

I've been having car issues all week long, but my brakes are bomber. :)  My fastest lap of the weekend was the very first one.  It's kinda been all downhill from there.  (Unless you count going from 24th to 15th in the first race as uphill.)

McKeever and Dahl are in 1.6's.  Perhaps Kyle Loustaunau?  It's an NA anyway. Too busy to see what else others are running.

My view of turn 1 lap 1 from the 1st qual race.  Which lane to pick?  I'll post the full vid when things settle down.  (Sorry for not cropping, but the latest Windows update has decided to fubar my notebook.  Of course which has my data acq package crashing all the time. :cursing: )

One of the regers got loose on the inside going 3 wide into turn 2. He shot back to the left and hit schrader, which shot them back to the right taking our Dahl. Sent all three into the wall on the right.

Thats terrible for Will, seemed to be the fastest car there. Haldeman lost a fuel pump and got hit from behind
