No doubt this will be a great race. Also, no doubt the Florida guys (too many fast ones to name) will be Very hard to beat. All I can say is that I think our 3 car team, and 2 car technical alliance team will be in the hunt.

Dear Spec Miata participants:
This email has two pieces of information regarding the SCCA Runoffs Presented by Garmin VIRB at Daytona – Free Hoosier tires and a Spec Miata-specific driver’s meeting.
First off, this year’s Spec Miata Hoosier contingency program has a surplus of unclaimed tires. Like previous years, these will be distributed to participants at the Runoffs. Unlike previous years, where we had the total number of available tires prior to registration opening, creating a first-come, first-served situation for the first X number of entries, we will distribute the tires equally to all Spec Miata drivers participating at the Runoffs.
This year, each driver will receive three (3) free SM7 tires. The only costs associated will be for transport ($15/tire or $45 for the three) and any mounting and balancing services provided on site.
To ensure that the tires are distributed to participating drivers, these can only be claimed after setting a time in qualifying. To claim your tires, please visit the on-site Hoosier dealer. We thank Hoosier for its support of this program!
Second order of business is the Spec Miata Drivers’ Meeting, which will be conducted with the assistance of Mazda Motorsports and some of its top professional drivers, Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 1:30 pm in the Drivers’ Meeting Room behind the media center, near driver information. This will follow the lunchtime meeting for SM/Prod/AS with the CRB in the same room.
