Driving to Daytona? Here is some free legal advice if you get caught with a lead foot, at least in Connecticut.
"Aggrieved drivers have the Constitutional right to scrawl F-bombs and other words of rage when they submit their traffic ticket payment slips, a federal judge has ruled. "
" The decision stems from the arrest of a frustrated Connecticut motorist, who wrote “F–k your s–tty town b–ches†on a form as he sent the upstate town of Liberty $175 for a speeding fine in 2012."

I'm pretty sure you can write a check on a pair of your dirty underwear as long as all the info is included.
Just sayin,

Not sure dirty underwear counts as legal tender.

Sounds like it's a "legal spoof"

Many nonstandard checks are publicity stunts, such as the 21-by-7-foot check cashed for a charity drive in Fort Worth. Most others are intended as nuisances. As a rule, I would venture to say, they get sent through the mail, for the obvious reason that they're a lot harder for the payee to reject. Just about any large company can tell you stories about comedians who send in checks written on underwear, bricks, and other inconvenient media. One common stunt is to write your annual tax check to the IRS on a shirt (the shirt off your back, get it?). Swiftian satire it ain't, but some find it amusing.
I digress again.
Carry on.

I understand that there was Wi Fi problems in the entire area yesterday which caused problems last night, Hopefully, they will get it worked out. The heavy down pour during the time registration opened and into the evening did not help. Tech had no problems so hopefully all will get better for you. I did see that the parking folks continued on into the night and got everyone who arrived parked in the their assigned areas. Still raining this AM but it looks like it will move on out in a while.
I'm out here this AM to head up to Myrtle Beach for a short track race Saturday night and back here on Sunday. Play nice during practice. It pays nothing but can cost a bunch.

I live just a little over an hour north of Daytona, In Jacksonville, Fl. Home of the big bad pussy cats football team. Anyways, it has been raining every single day for the last 2-3 weeks. Hopefully it stops so everyone can have a fun and safe weekend with as minimal carnage as possible!

My personal experience at around 1pm with registration was nothing short of mind-blowing. Registered for all test sessions and main event, less than 5 minutes. Complete tech with all stickers for test days and main event, less than 5 minutes. Thanks SCCA - wish it was like this every event in CFR region.
Only thing missing were the contingency packets from drivers O through Z!!!!

The new SCCA registration system leaves a LOT to be desired.
Full disclosure: SMAC chairman, my opinions do not reflect anything to do with the SMAC unless specifically stated.

Then there are those of us that stood in line in the rain for 2 hours Wednesday for registration after it opened.
The new SCCA registration system leaves a LOT to be desired.

I was thinking about discussing that but then it became too late.
But for next time.....
How about some chairs, take a number system, some easy-ups, so you don't bake in the sun or get rained on.
