Jim and Max had a great race and Tom, Jesse and Steve also had a great race until something bummed Steve.

 

Question, did the 00 and 99 car make gains on the oval or?

Congrats to Jim for the Saturday win and to Max for a new track record. Those two guys can drive!

Jesse and I had a good race but Steve got in the way so I had to help him out of the way. Actually his car setup was wrong so it was really just a mercy killing. If Jesse had a bit more power it would have been a fair fight.

Don't know about the 99s on the oval. Never close enough to gauge. Jim and Max hooked up from the start and gapped the rest.

Nice job Jim & Max! Jesse was carving up the infield while I was trying to push my way through the lefts, worse every lap till Tom knocked my rear bumper nearly off to give me an excuse to get the meat ball. From earlier sessions it seems we can just hold a draft with the 99s here, but they can easily draft-pass us, as we could Jesse. He needs our engine, and we need to make up the torque deficit by doing better on the infield. One advantage we should have, brakes, really doesn't come into play here.
