yup, makes perfect sense. 

if a miata's handling is a complex problem with many trade offs, interaction effects and variables, then wouldn't the entire earths thermodynamic properties maybe ... just maybe ... be more complex than "its get hotter everywhere a uniform amount at a uniform rate?"

BTW, the earth is, on the whole, warming. this does not mean that climate change is in an inaccurate term, or a "hedge" against cooling ... something that is not, and has never actually be predicted. yes, im aware of the right wing's popularizing of the TIME article predicting global cooling in the 1970s. thankfully, TIME, is not a scientific journal, with peer reviewed articles. such an white paper was written recently showing that actually in the 1970s, the majority of climatologists still were predicting warming.

if we can apply science to improve automotive performance, then we can apply science to the climate too. thousands of people every day do. that doesn't make them communists.

guess what industry is about a 770 billion dollar a year industry? its baby brother is "only" a 70 billion dollar a year industry. 

 

for perspective the entire NSF budget (that less than 10% goes to climate research), is about 7 billion dollars a year. if you want to talk about where the money is, climate research ISN'T it. the folks getting rich here are not people who do research on climate science.

But he would have stopped 15 out 10 pucks shot at him from any of the retards at bhf! And I did not coach him, but he could win a majors race with some seat time and a good car with a good setup, he races less then 3 weekends a year usually lol. Seen some video anyone who can juggles 3 balls against a wall and stop a piece of rubber shot over 100mph has hands far faster then Danny Steyn.

Ron, my two boys are Gen X and neither is as addicted as the three millennial grand kids. I told the grand kids at Christmas, no more texting with me. Now if only Caveman would follow the same no texting process.
