Caesar, can you make the fonts for quoted text and signatures (Infinite) a bit darker? They just fade into the white background now. Alo, if you could tone down the background (a very light gray instead of white) it would be a lot easier on the eyes.

I'm not trying to speak for Caesar in any way, but I can tell you it is difficult and time consuming to actually go into the skin coding which is what has to be done to achieve your request.

Also, some skins don't even allow you to change the coding in any way.

I noticed this as well, can we go back to the last post or page when we click in view active content please :)

I know this is all stuff you are probably working on.. :angel:

There is a small icon next to each thread in the "view new content" list. It used to be that orange star, now it seems to be several different flavors of things (dot, cartoon bubble, not sure what else). The icon is still clickable, and will take you to the first unread post. Clicking on the thread name takes you to the front of the post.

"Mark as Read" button?

Down at the bottom left of the page, entitled: "Mark Community Read".

Most skins do this with CSS, and all that's really needed is to change one number. Sometimes it can be hard to find, I admit. If a skin is really doing color settings in code, nobody should ever use it. Yes, I've done this before.

The old IPB skins were done that way - it was maddening to say the least LOL

CSS for backround color is easy to find, it's located early in the sequence....the quoted text not so much...only thing is a lot of skin makers get really "pissy" about you going in there and changing they're settings. I guess it's an artist "thing".

Another item that could use a little work is the text positioning of the top line of message text (Infinite). At this point it's positioned partially on top of the line that shows the post time. Same problem in the left-hand frame where the user group overlays the user name.

You can learn a lot from "view source". Looks like CSS to me.

<link rel='stylesheet' type='text/css' href='http://mazdaracers.com/public/style_images/infinite/colorpicker.css' />

amongst several other stylesheets.

Prior to the latest change each time I opened up the site and selected "view new content" I got a list of the latest subjects posted to and if one of the subjects was one that I had been following and I selected it, it would open at the page where I had last been, now it opens at the start of the post!

This may have been already reported but I haven't taken the time to go back through all the preceding pages.

Den;

Click on "view new content" and it takes you to the page with the list of new content.

Then clicking the small icon highlighted in the picture to the left of the thread takes you to "view first unread".

If you click on the thread heading itself it takes you to the beginning. Click on the small icon instead and it loads where you were and go from there.

We are not going to touch the CSS or any code for that matter other than to add the fucntionality that Drago asked for. Drago bought one more skin which will be uploaded shortly (dark back) but touching code is a slippery slope, even if it is one line of CSS code...trust me it never is just one line. Some like this skin the way it is so we are going to leave it.

I agree with _Q_ if you see a skin out there that you like.., buy it send me the zip, and make a "nice" donation so we can pay my guys who have been working on this. We bought the skins from IPBForumSkins We are using version 3.2. Note that skins for 3.1 do not work on 3.2.

I'm having an issue with the classifieds. When I try to list an item I get this error:
