For those who missed the live feed, image of Drago's lap 1 incident.
should be interesting to hear "what happened". I couldn't tell from the coverage angle who got into who.

Like it was said before Goulart on point the whole race and there was a lot of "he won't do it, he won't.....wow he did it" moments.
He used the fact that Gorriaran was driving his mirrors to his advantage. He really faked him good a few times on that last lap.
I wonder how many protests have been filed by now?

RF onto LR - isn't RF at fault in situations like that?should be interesting to hear "what happened". I couldn't tell from the coverage angle who got into who.
Isn't it up to RF to avoid contact even though LR moved to a "defensive" line?

Gorrarian really needs to stop crying. He had Elivan's car torn down at Pocono after Elivan beat him and it came back legal. Enough is enough. Gorrarian got beat fair and square and should give Elivan kudos. Elivan is a great driver and simply outmaneuvered Gorrarian.
Well put. That interview was NOT impressive (at least not in a positive way). I found it insulting that the guy who's been known to have the TWO best cars at every race complaining about equipment, and the guy that took out the pole sitter on lap 1 complaining about contact.
Perhaps tech inspection and in car videos will vindicate his comments, but I'm pretty sure I saw Drago leave 1+ car widths of room, and the former champion get out driven by the new one.

That would be a big "depends". It can go either way depending on whether it occurs turning for a corner or just running down the straight (in my opinion). I have seen some people run into the grass at over 100mph by a lead car trying to prevent a pass which is a bit over the top. The best thing would be to race hard, respect each other and give some breaks here and there when mistakes happen.

I heard the exact opposite and that Elivan's car was almost as fast as the T2 cars on the straights that weekend.
At any rate, that was a fun race to watch and a great drive by them both.

Avoiding contact is everyone's responsibility and also nobody's.

No doubt there will be a lot of refreshing as the day continues. Can't wait for the "final" results along with the drivers perspective
