I reject reality and replace it with my own. The picture in my head has Drago with the checker. My crew would still have me locked in my trailer if that happened to me. Feel really bad for you Jim. I know how hard you worked for it this year.
+1
I have an opinion so I must be right

First, CONGRATS LITTLE BUDDY!!!! Not sure anyone had anything or you. Log book a week ago, unloads on Wed, qual up front and kicked ass!! First win with new motor rules suggesting that yes, you can build your own motor and do exceptional!
I was EG's guest in tech until the protests and BS got my blood boiling.
As of last night the 44 car's head failed. EG was fine on the motor. I think the 44 car protested EG for contact, what balls after taking Drago out. 44 was not protested by Drago but via a RFA from the workers.
This could mean a one year suspension for the 44 car and he needs it to ponder if racing is his thing. Anger management poster anyone?
General thoughts, man drama just as high as ever. Most of the field gets along and the banter is great. Few folks are just plain mean spirited and rude.
The 17 and 44 need to team up, peas in a pod.
Thuraday night yielded a shouting match and a finger in chest moment. I was not there but several said the commet was "I'll take you out". 44 car to Drago. EG's dad was there too, restrained after being called a cheater in front of a table of folks there socializing, yup 44 again.
All in all I left feeling like I need to build a car. To race iot just to handle those that are getting a free pass in the asshole department.
More tech news when I land.
A survey will come soon to find out why the car count was low, seems I'm the person being asked that, how the hell do I know lol.
Last thought, unless you bought it from me and we discussed what it is you bought, it is NOT a "JD" part. I don't sell anything these days, buyer beware!!!!
Great to see everyone in all classes, Chip especially!

JD thanks for the report. I have heard similar issues as well. I have not met EG but he seems like a good guy and he drove one hell of a race; if his car passes tech congratulations to him. SG does have a few issues. Even protesting somebody can be done with class which he seems to have none of. It is too bad that Drago never got to show what he had; I know he worked real hard but I guess that is racing. We will see what today brings but it is unlikely that SG will come out of the 2011 runoffs with the respect of his peers. At airport after sneaking up here to watch the race.

Having met EG at the Glen, I can tell you he is all class! Very nice down to earth guy even when his car is not doing as he wanted.
Congrats Elivan, you deserved the win, you drove a great race and an exciting race to watch!

I think you answered the questions about why the car count was low with your comments above. Too much drama, too much time, too little fun.

Turn 5 gators knocked battery loose and cause big time short that melted alternator.Anyone know what happened to Chris (72 car)? He was in 9th with about 3 laps to go looking strong, in a pack with p6 through p10. The next lap he was 23rd, and finished 26th.

Blake, that's supposed to be a Charbonneau thing....
I'm just filling in until he's back

Great run for Andrew in the SSB race until his car went into limp mode.
