Hille was in great shape to win this thing if he had clean qual race. And Francis could have made a run at the podium if he held his position.
Maybe they still can if it rains tomorrow?

I like to catch up on the forums during lunch, and every time I read one of your posts, I either get heartburn from hale or explosive diarrhea. I'm sure I'm not alone.
Here's an idea: don't read his posts.

From RaceMonitor:I missed it. Finishing order?
Never mind. I think I originally posted by fast race lap.

We raced against him at Mid Oh Nationals about 6 weeks ago and he won both events. Shawn was on his bumper at the finish line at the Sunday race, he runs really strong. The only weak spot in his game is that his car sometimes starts to fade about midway through the race, but he is usually very fast at the beginning.
Good luck to all, wish we were there.

If his car gets torn down and he is found compliant then there will be a lot of people that will give him credit; including me. Until then the jury is still out!Jr drove a great race, give him some credit.

Ernie Jr here
As you all know I finished 3rd in the qualifying, and I am here to tell you that after it we had the top 3 cars go to the dyno. I was one of them. I am not going to say the numbers for the others except I was 1 hp and 1 tq less then the other 99. So you all know my 1999 car ran 118.5 hp and 109 tq. I am telling you all this so you know that I don't have any massive amount of power, it was all driving.
Best regards
By my math, that's about 128 /118 in "non Champs week" numbers. That's OK, that's about what it takes.
Of course, this assumes you didn't put a whiffle golf-ball in the intake while waiting in line and bleed the tires down to 11 psi on pit lane. (Some secrets are too funny not to bring up every once in a while).

FYI
The people doing the Dyno made sure to check all tire pressures and make them equal. And the tech officials watched the entire time so no one can touch the cars.
On another note
I would like to thank Alex and Charbs for speaking up and showing video to help prove Alec was at fault. Also I would like to that Gilfus for helping me out set up the car.
Tomorrows another day, I will be starting from the mid to back, and I'll have fun and see how many cars I can get by in 45 mins. Lol

What accounts for a 7.5% loss from "non Champs week" numbers? Doesn't look like it's very hot in Lexington, OH today. Just curious...
Looking forward to watching the championship race online tomorrow!
