6th at 50th SCCA Runoffs in SM OPM's Rental 01
2nd fastest race lap at the Runoffs.

Ugh, those bumps next to the wall suck. Was Joey's car set up loose or was that bottoming out the rear?

One official was in the area where I was spotting and he had binoculars out verifying the net was down..... Dean was frustrated, thats for sure it was a bummer that the 4 car battle shrank to 2 in one lap!

WELLLLLLL a Long story here, but Joey's car is always setup loose and some dumb ass got distracted after scaling the car and did not hook up either front or rear swaybar so he was driving without bars in the race...... DOOOOOOH! He said the car was actually easier to drive, but slower at exit of the corners. Sunday's race was the testament to that as he drove away from the lead battle.

If he was wearing arm restraints (and I realize the chances were slim because that's not common in SM), it sure would have been a shame to ruin someone's race or session when they were completely legal (just using an alternate, approved option).

Don't underestimate what workers can see. Most of them have done it for a long time. It would not surprize me that they could confirm that the driver was not using arm restraints.
