this is what he would say on victory lane

Satire is primarily a literary genre or form, although in practice it can also be found in the graphic and performing arts. In satire, vices, follies, abuses, and shortcomings are held up to ridicule, ideally with the intent of shaming individuals, and society itself, into improvement.[1] Although satire is usually meant to be funny, its greater purpose is often constructive social criticism, using wit as a weapon.

Do we talk about who is cheating before or after the race?

A) Before

B) During

C) After regardless of who wins

D) After if certain drivers win

E) All of the above

Bob, I'll take E, all of the above! :)

I read the weight changes announced by NASA. Does this new spec apply to SCCA and more specifically this race?

Man o man...that is quite an entry list. Might as well through darts to pick a winner! Can we say qualifying will be important???

A big mistake will cost the driver top 10...little mistake 3 spots! I cant see anyone driving away from the front unless he has 2 teammates behind him. If there is a pack of 5 or more cars with 2 laps to go...I predict a car which was running 3/4/5th will win!

No homer pics so I will go with past results...Berry, Burdzy, and Bolanos in the top 5

Andrew C is my wild card pic...for obvious reasons :)

From the looks of the track and the vids from last year HP is not the biggest factor here.

If Ferranti's new car is sorted and it is anywhere near the equal of the rest he can win here.

Therefore I am going out on a limb and picking Ferranti to win the supposed practice runnoffs.

Lee,

I believe the Fastrack changes announced are effective March 1.  If so, yes the rules changed.

Don't single out down town Tommy Brown. If I remember correctly he put it on pole last year and had 2 good finishes.

Just to put an end to a rumor that apparently grown legs. I am not filing a mechanical protest of any sorts at NOLA, nor are any of my teammates, entrant or anyone on my behalf. Furthermore, we we have no intentions of filing any mechanical protests all year and have not filed one ever during my racing "career". If something were to develop that I feel needed to be addressed or protested, that competitor and engine builder would be given a courtesy conversation and my intentions would be very clear with enough time to rectify any situation amicably. Further non compliance in Sm will do nothing but further damage the class we all love. I have had no such conversation with anyone, so if anyone fears a protest coming from me or our camp, you are wasting time and energy on something will not be happening.

As far as any of our cars under our tent, any competitor is welcome to inspect whatever they like within reason at any time. If your requests are not met to your satisfaction( or you just feel you need to file a protest) we have no issue and don't take it personally. It should go without saying we feel the cars are 100% compliant including new bushings and no spindles.

I was/am looking forward to a starting off our season drama free and get back to just racing our girly cars and having fun. We( myself included) are losing sight of why we do this in the first place and all taking this stuff way too seriously and a little too full of ourselves! As my friend Saul says often.. "Short of you, me and about 75 other DB's, no one else even knows what SM is". This is supposed to be fun! The tires and contingency you would win if you won every race doesn't even get you to break even status. If we can't have fun doing this stuff, we need to pick another hobby as we could all spend far less time and money on something we actually enjoy.
My rant is over, look forward to seeing you guys at NOLA and having a great weekend, win or lose.
